We would like to recognize and honor Mrs. Pierro from Judy Nelson Elementary!
![]() Q and A with Mrs. Pierro What do you love most about Teaching? First of all I was a parent first. I loved teaching my children and watching them grow up. I went to college after I raised our eight children. I then went into the profession of teaching because I love to watch people grow through learning. I love watching students learn. Watching my students use their brains excites me. You can tell when they understand the concept you are trying to teach. You what to give them a shout out "You got it, terrific now go and teach someone what you just learned" Working in my community with my students, families, and community members make be proud to live in this area. I want to make a difference in our community and in the lives of my students. Is there a group of students or a class period that you are particularly proud of and would like to Honor? Every year I enjoy working my individual students. I learn so much from them. I have worked with so many age levels such as preschool students, teens, parents and students I have been honored to know and associate with them all. So many of my students have shared their talents in our classrooms. I receive so many notes from my students thanking me. I love teaching! I look forward to teaching for many years to come...... |
